Dear ___________,
Thank you for your message and inquiry. I have not been able to find any evidence that Mrs. White asked Elder Daniells to prepare his book. Perhaps he stated that to someone, but the only explanation I find is in his own Foreword that refers to a request from the Ministerial Association for such a publication.
In terms of whether the church as a whole accepted the message of RBF after the Minneapolis meetings, the evidence indicates that there was wide-spread acceptance among the church, while there continued to be strong opposition by certain church leaders for several years following 1888. A good description of this is found in the EGW Biography, vol. 3, chapters 32 & 35. In the context of the need for continuing extensive Ministerial Institutes, W. C. White made this comment to one of our workers in 1895:
"She [Ellen White] says that after the Minneapolis Conference there was much need of ministerial institutes, but now that the light has been presented and accepted, that it is the duty of those workers to gather about them younger laborers and lay helpers, and to go into the mission fields working and teaching as they work." (W. C. White to D. A. Robinson, Sept 10, 1895, quoted in "Manuscripts and Memories," p. 290.) The same sentiment is echoed by Mrs. White in her comment found in 6T 89, first paragraph, written two years later.
As to whether the law would be lost sight of because of an overemphasis on RBF, one finds concern in Mrs. White's writings over a proper understanding of the relationship between law and Gospel both before and after 1888. As an example of a post-1888 caution, see her letter to Elder Jones published in 1SM 377-379.
If we can be of any additional help, please let us know.
God bless.

To Whom It May Concern:
The comment has been made that Ellen G. White asked A.G. Daniels to write the book Christ Our Righteousness. Is there any truth to this? I noticed that the books copyright is 1924 and she died in 1-5, so I didn't know. I would like some information on this, please.
Also, after making the comment in regards to not 1 in 100 people understanding the message of righteousness by faith, did she or did she not after going on the road with Jones/Waggoner to preach/teach it make the statement that the church had for the most part accepted it, and did she or did she not express the concern that this message would be accepted/advocated to the point that the law would be lost sight of?
Thankyou very much!
