Dear ___________,
Thank you for contacting us with your question (appended below).
When the ellenwhite.org group asked us if we had any interest in an online debate we replied that we felt the opposing viewpoints were pretty well represented on our two websites. We see the materials on our website giving our thinking on the various issues currently being discussed in a more Christian setting than what a "debate" usually entails.
You mentioned that you had "accidentally" surfed to our website. Perhaps you hadn't realized that we have had a section on our site for some time called "Selected Issues Relating to Inspiration and Ellen G. White" dealing with such matters. Our declining some sort of online "debate" does not mean that such misrepresentations are "uncontended" (as a review of the material on our site will show). And we will be continuing to enlarge that collection of material as time and personnel permit.
Thank you, again, for inquiring.

Subject: declined debate?
Greetings,
I accidentally surfed on in when i attached the suffix .com instead of .org to 'www.ellenwhite'.
Greetings,
I'm an ex-sda for 7 mo. now and periodically visit the unofficial Ellen White web site. On their site they posted that you guys have declined to debate them on the velidity of Ellen White's prophetic gift.
I'm just curious to as why you guys declined. Sincerely wondering why there was no 'contending' on this matter?
In peace, ___________
