I'm an SDA freelance proofreader living in Colorado Springs. I mostly proof books for Chariot Victor, a Christian publishing house here. I'm currently working on a book on eschatology, which does briefly mention SDA views of eschatology. It discusses EGW's role in the church to some degree. I'd like to verify some info.
Thank you for getting in touch. It's good to hear from an Adventist involved in the kind of work you are!
For how many years did EGW have visions (i.e., when was her first vision, and when was her last vision)?
Ellen G. White's first vision was in December of 1844. She died in July of 1915, giving her a ministry of about 70 years. I don't know that we can pinpoint her last vision. In her later years the usual method of messages coming to her was during the night in prophetic dreams. She refers to these as late as 1913 (see Selected Messages, book 2, p. 402, for instance), but I cannot rule out other such experiences having happened later.
Approximately how many visions did she have?
Arthur L. White, her grandson who for more than 50 years served in the Ellen G. White Estate, estimated that over her lifetime she received around 2000 visions and prophetic dreams.
Thank you for your help.

Glad to be of service; I hope this is what you need. Thank you for writing, and God bless.
