I was taking with someone and they wanted me to get a scripture telling them that Satan was an angel in heaven. can you help me.

Thank you for contacting the Ellen G. White Estate. Texts that come to mind are Revelation 12:7-9, Luke 10:18, and Isaiah 14:12-14. Perhaps there are others, but these come quickly to mind. You can probably find a discussion of this in the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Dictionary, part of the SDA Bible Commentary set, under Satan or under Lucifer.
